How We Began

Looking through videos, interviews, books, documents and other research required to complete this project was deeply painful.  So you may ask why we are doing this or why even bring up the past, well we believe it's vital for our people to know and remember what happened to them so we can stop it from ever happening again.   

Our people have suffered inter generational trauma equal to that suffered or perhaps even greater then that experienced by the Jews at the hands of Nazi's in Europe.  We found there is very little information about what happened and it's fragmented and not presented from our Dharmic viewpoint, that's exactly why we created this site.  As a platform to tell those stories so history doesn't repeat itself.  We have learnt during this project is that not only is the genocide against the Hindu's, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Indigenous people of India severe but the techniques from supposedly separate forces are startlingly similar and it continues to this very day!  

The Dharmic people of India have carried this burden with great dignity and self respect.  We feel that's because our people know we are more then this body.  Blacking out what happened has helped us to rationalise things and build a future, but there comes a time where we must face up to what happened and ensure justice is served.  Time is running out with some of the very people that suffered through these horrors!
